So, here are some of the biggest announcements ushering in 2026:
Compass: Fifteen-year-old indie brokerage Town Realty Chicago has joined Compass. The seven-agent team has rebranded to Town Group, with its office serving as Compass’s first physical location on Chicago’s South Side. Team leaders Meg Mulrenin and Matt McGinnis have more than 30 years of combined real estate experience and specialize in South Side real estate, with their team logging $30 million in sales volume in 2024.
Douglas Elliman: Renowned East Coast broker Heather Domi has returned to Douglas Elliman after a decade. The broker has a lifetime sales volume of more than $2 billion and leads the Heather Domi Team in Manhattan. Domi is a founding chair of the New York Residential Agent Continuum (NYRAC), and helped start the first American Real Estate Association chapter.
Red Key Realty Leaders: Industry veteran Dan Brassil has joined Red Key Realty Leaders, an indie brokerage with four locations throughout the Greater St. Louis area. Brassil has more than 15 years of experience with a lifetime closed sales volume of $169 million.
Rodeo Realty: LA-based boutique brokerage Rodeo Realty has shored up its team with the addition of five agents: Brett Kleiman, Claudio Pena, Tammy Delwarte, Viktorya Hovhannisya and Michael Ehrhart. The firm has more than 1,200 agents and brokers across 12 offices in Los Angeles and Ventura counties.
Side: Side has tapped Arizona real estate veteran Nick El-Tawil to serve as the managing broker for the partners across the state. El-Tawil has an impressive resume, including stints at Douglas Elliman Real Estate and The Agency.
