Popular Netflix real estate reality show Owning Manhattan is back for Season 2 on Friday, Dec. 5. It’s based on Ryan Serhant, of Million Dollar Listing New York fame, and the agents at his 4-year-old, self-funded (thus far) New York City brokerage, SERHANT.

Serhant got into real estate 13 years ago, after a floundering acting career. He spent a decade of that time on MDLNY before deciding to start his own brokerage.

If you’re not familiar with Owning Manhattan, you might recognize Serhant from his cameos on Sex and the City revival And Just Like That … or Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing: Ryan’s Renovation, Sell It Like Serhant, Million Dollar Listing New York: Ryan’s Wedding and Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

Serhant also has 2.7 million Instagram followers, more than 1.3 million TikTok followers, and 172,200 followers on X, which is why he created an in-house production company, SERHANT. Studios, to help ensure that he and his agents have everything they need to craft high-quality social media and marketing content at all times.

SERHANT. has grown to nearly 1,000 agents, with $10 billion in listings and $5 billion in sales, Serhant says in the first episode of Season 2.

A select few of those agents appear on Owning Manhattan. Get to know them below, after a brief catch-up on cast moves, some spoilers included.

Season 2 cast updates

Before we get into the current agents, it’s worth noting that Jonathan Nørmølle, who was fired by Serhant in Season 1 for using company resources to make a podcast bashing other agents at SERHANT. has landed at Keller Williams New York City and does not appear in Season 2.

Although Jessica Markowski was also a part of that podcast, she remained at SERHANT. and does appear in Season 2.

CATCH UP ON ALL THE DRAMA FROM SEASON 1

Last season, viewers watched North Carolina transplant Savannah Gowarty try to get acclimated in New York City and establish herself as the new agent in the office. Ultimately, she decided that SERHANT. wasn’t the right place for her, and she left for Compass. Gowarty is not featured as a cast member this season, but she does make an appearance.

With two agents gone, it was no surprise that fresh blood would emerge. In the first episode of Season 2, Serhant meets with Corcoran agent Peter Zaitzeff, whom he’d been wooing for four years.

In a meetup at 200 Amsterdam, with “hundreds of millions of dollars of inventory to sell in one building,” Zaitzeff makes it clear that he is happy at Corcoran. He has meaningful relationships, and CEO Pam Liebman is good to him. However, when Serhant offers him the position of sales director for the entire building, he decides to make the move to SERHANT., which ruffles some feathers with established agents at the firm.

Known as an authority on luxury and new development, Zaitzeff has launched and sold many of New York City’s high-profile and architecturally significant projects, breaking records along the way.

“Some may think that I have an unfair advantage with Ryan. However, Ryan is kind of like family to me. I’ve done everything, from like his Christmas shopping, I was at his wedding, I was the first person in his office to hold Zena. I’ve been there through it all. You know, whether it’s fair or it’s unfair, it is what it is. And I put my time in, so I don’t know what to tell them,” Jordan Hurt says in Season 1.

A little different than Serhant’s relationship with his other agents, Serhant and Hurt are enjoyable to watch as they go on a shopping spree buying suits together, work through real estate and personal problems, and attend event after event together.

Originally from Ohio, Hurt lives in Downtown Manhattan with his French Bulldog, Pedro. In his spare time, he travels, plays guitar and volunteers at the New York City LGBTQ Center.

Tricia Lee

“Through owning my nail salon, Polish Bar, I got to know every woman in Brooklyn. Over the course of those 10 years, I had 23,000 clients in my database who were probably the most powerful people in the city. And that is the foundation I used to really build my real estate business on,” Lee said in Season 1.

The “Mayor of Brooklyn,” as Serhant calls her, is working toward building a business in Manhattan, too, throughout both seasons, with success along the way.

Jade Shenker

Jade Shenker was one of SERHANT.’s first commercial agents, a driving force of SERHANT.’s Commercial Collective.

“My goal for SERHANT. is to run the best commercial division that New York has ever seen — and make it sexy,” Jade Shenker said on Season 1.

“SERHANT. is the most followed brokerage in the world, and it’s brilliant to be able to use that following and close deals. My goal with commercial is to bring Ryan’s residential marketing approach to the plain, boring commercial industry,” she adds.

Born into a family of real estate developers on the Upper East Side, she’s overseen nearly $1 billion in assets throughout her career, according to her bio.

“Jade threw me a curve ball,” Serhant said in Season 1. “I met her, and she was like, ‘Oh, I do commercial. Most people think commercial real estate agent, they think old white guy. But commercial real estate is a $20 trillion industry. So Jade has connections and wants to get into commercial — there could be a huge opportunity there.”

From taking marketing risks, to throwing must-attend commercial events, to pitching for major projects, Shenker is consistently an innovative thinker and one to watch.

Chloe Tucker Caine

Chloe Tucker Caine Team

Growing up in Los Angeles, Tucker Caine always had dreams of becoming a Broadway star. She played Sophie in Mamma Mia! on Broadway and did a Broadway National Tour before turning to real estate, thinking it would be a side gig.

“I thought I’d see Chloe Tucker Caine on the marquee, and it just turned out that I had bigger dreams. I wanted the whole damn skyline,” she said in Season 1.

“Chloe’s actually newer to the business. But even though she didn’t have that much experience in sales, you just know sometimes with people. She’s a performer,” Serhant said of the fireball agent in Season 1. “She is fiercely competitive, and she has a strong personality. She does not take no for an answer — for better and for worse.”

After battling with Lundgren over a listing in Season 1, the two team up, making a mini musical to help get 304 West 18th Street sold for $4,775,000.

Tucker Cain announced she was pregnant in Season 1, and in Season 2, she returns from her maternity leave. She lives in Flatiron with her husband, daughter, Charley, and toy poodle, Sadie.
